Crumbs of Memory is a ceramics project inspired by the simple yet vivid recollections of a bánh mì street food stall I frequented as a child, right in front of my primary school gate. The smell of fresh baguettes, the sound of students rushing for their breakfast meal—this project aims to capture the tactile connection to those fleeting moments, using ceramics to evoke the warmth and comfort of a childhood favourite, preserving a piece of the street food culture that was an integral part of growing up in Hanoi.
